I have been in education for almost 20 years and love my current job as a School Counselor at Terre Haute South. I spent 15 years in the classroom before becoming a school counselor. I primarily taught US History and American Government, but I am also licensed in Business. I spent the majority of my teaching career with Baltimore City Schools where I worked in the alternative setting concentrating on high risk students. I have also taught at Booker T. Washington Alternative School in Terre Haute as well as Terre Haute South. I am currently the Director of Guidance at Terre Haute South where I have helped implement our Early College program that starts in the Fall of '23. I am a huge football fan, and love spending time with my 10 year-old twin daughters. I also love traveling, being a History nerd, Geocaching, and going to antique stores.
